Cardiff Kata Course - October 2025

Just two short weeks after the course in Sligo it was down to Cardiff for an Autumn course led by Jon Dunn at the club of Nikki Lintern-Gittens.

An excellent sweaty Friday night session at Nikki's dojo to get everyone in the mood, with Jon keeping everyone on their toes with his unique style of teaching.

On the Saturday another packed session with over 50 attendees at the much bigger and better air conditioned hall! Senior instructors split them into groups to cover basics, katas and some bunkai as well as combinations to get the brain going.

Julia Cyran - 1st Dan

An excellent grading afterwards with many students from Wales gaining different colour belts and a great performance from Julia Cyran to gain her 1st Dan grade at 15 years old.

Two great weekends with good friends, some great students all working hard and an electric atmosphere.

Proud to be a part of a great association and good to see so many at the sessions.
