On Saturday 15th November we returned to St Giles Church Hall for the first time since the pandemic started in 2020 and found the hall was beautifully refurbished and upgraded. A great setting for our return to training to Nazeing!
The course was hosted by Jon Dunn (6th dan) and Sue Skinner (7th dan) concentrating on improving our form for the basic katas before we split into separate groups to practice grade appropriate katas with Jon, Sue and Steve Gibbs (7th dan) patrolling and providing correction and advice where needed or requested.
There was a great turnout from clubs across England and Wales including Ammanford, Cannock, Swindon, Bristol, Luton, Elkai, Maldon, and Reading.
Everyone worked hard (of course) and brains were melted at the end of the day (of course) with a last blast of the kata variations that we have become accustomed to. Especially the exercise of performing a kata in a straight line, moving only forwards!

Here's looking forward to another course in Nazeing.
