What a great turn out for the Yeovil Weekend course!
It initially was to be a weekend for Malcolm, with Meesh and I giving him some personal training. However, it grew as you can see. Then Meesh took ill and couldn't make it. Boy did Meesh miss a great course!
I thoroughly enjoyed training the group from Saturday 10am through to Sunday at 1pm.
We covered Back to Basics and getting it right incorporating 'Body Mechanics' and flowing through the techniques.
The weather was incredible so we ventured out onto the pitch for a session before lunch with plenty of Kata.

Following lunch it was back inside with more Pinan Kata and group Pinan Kata with Bunkai.
Then Senior Kata which brought out the usual with some facing the wrong way. I'll let you pick THEM out lol.

Throughout there was the occasional combinations (with some help from Nici we managed to work them out), those who had the pleasure to train in Wales with Sensei Peter Spanton (RIP) will remember them.

Then it was time to push hard and see how much I could get from everyone.
I wasn't disappointed they put their heart and soul into it and Pete would have been proud of you all.
Thank you for making my weekend and I hope to see you all on the other courses.
Thank you to Nici for giving me hand in putting together some combination and assisting with the Brown belts.

On the Sunday there were a few less than the Saturday but they made up for it with their energy and the Higashi spirit.

Thank you for making my weekend and I hope to see you all on the other courses.
Keep an eye on the horizon.
See you all soon.
