LOCAL CLUB NEWS / SPOTLIGHT
Tir Chonaill Higashi celebrated its 10th anniversary recently and to mark the occasion we took the club members for an adventure day in Belfast, followed by a dip in the local leisure centre.
We also organised an inter club competition to give all members, young and old an opportunity to display and test their talents. We finished the year with a presentation night, which included the presentation of the Peter Spanton Perpetual Trophy. Dominic Shannon was the well deserved recipient.
We continue this year in the same vein, with our senior instructors course on the 7th of March. To include our first ever session of yoga for karate. It should be an interesting challenge.
Our clubs run on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Times and venues can be found on the Higashi website, under Club Listing. We welcome all visitors to our dojos, but beware, we might ask you to coach a session.
